Tony Canadas
For over two decades, Tony Canadas
has used light, color and intensity
to create memorable images for
print-media, advertising, fine art and
photography around the globe. His
lifelong affinity for the outdoors and
adventure has led him to become a
widely publicized action and travel artist.
Some of his clients include: National Geographic, BMW,
Tag Heuer, Discovery Channel, HBO, Yahoo, AOL, Budweiser and America Cup Media. Tony captures eye catching subject matter, extreme movement, light and texture in some of the harshest photography environments in the world. He combines the mediums of film, digital and alternative processes of paint, then applies his awe-inspirin creations to canvas and fine art papers.
The Artist’s signature confirms that the finest materials have been used in every one of a kind, hand-produced Masterwork on Canvas edition.
A Masterwork consists of hand- painted mixed media, using oil paint often with enhancements such as fine metals and organic compounds, to increase brightness and intensify color. The artist applies multiple coats to the canvas to create fine texture, depth and brush strokes. The result of this technique intensifies light and creates a sense of movement throughout the art by increasing the shades, tints and color tones.
